All Summer Long!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Wednesday, it was clear weather after a typhoon has passed, but very windy all day in Kanmon area.
Watching this wide opened blue sky and blue sea, during cleaning guesthouse, makes me want swimming in this blue water. As current in Kanmon Strait is very strong, swimming in strait means suicide, but there is a way to swim in this blue water.
The answer is “MEKARI salt water pool”.
Aug. 31 is the last day of this pool, summer 2016. So more people than usual were swimming in this pool under Kanmon Bridge. But number of people swimming is less than that of the swimming lanes. I could keep my own/only lane.
And this clearness!
Because of salt water (I think), we can swim in this clear water. Water is not artificial and pumped from Kanmon Strait.
This is the special place, you can TASTE Kanmon Strait with your five senses. There is no other place like this.
Because of not enough time after opening TOUKA, I cannot promote this pool. Next season, I will plan to appeal this place more. I thought so, watching sunset of Kanmon from TOUKA.

ひと夏の想い出！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
水曜日の関門エリアの天気は台風一過の晴れ模様でしたが、風がとても強い一日でした。
（台風から遠い場所ですが、台風の影響でこのところ不安定な天気です。）
掃除をしながら、眼前に拡がるこの青い空、青い海を見ていると、無性にこの青い水の中で泳ぎたくなります。 関門海峡は潮流が激しいので泳ぐのは自殺行為ですが、実はこの青い水で泳ぐことはできるんです。
それが「和布刈塩水プール」。
8月31日をもって、この夏の営業は終了。 関門橋を見上げるプールは夏を惜しむ人々で、いつも以上に賑わっていました。とはいっても一人づつ50mの1レーンを専有して、それでもまだレーンは余っています。
そしてこの透明度！
塩水のせいか、他にない透明度の中を泳ぐことが出来るんです。
で、この水が海水！ 関門海峡の水を汲み上げた水なんです。
まさに関門海峡を五感で味わえる場所（味覚まで）！ こんな施設、他にはありません。
宿のオープンから時間があまりなく、今シーズンはあまりこのプールを宣伝できませんでした。 是非、来シーズンはプールも計画的にアピールしてこうと、「灯火」から望む関門海峡の夕焼けを見ながら考えた夏の終わりでした。
