Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
A town hit by a tornado…
The reason of host’s frequent visit isn’t just because of the shop.
Because there is a beach there.
The charming feature of the beach is the White Goddess.
However, at the time of my visit, the parking lot along the coast was closed and had been turned into a collection point for disaster debris.
The sheer volume of debris made me realize the severity of the damage caused by the tornado.
Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, hosts have been traveling to affected areas whenever possible to witness the devastation firsthand… perhaps I can call it natural disaster tourism…
I believe that by experiencing it firsthand, it’s a valuable experience that will help us prepare effectively and respond better if we are ever affected by a disaster ourselves.
(I would actually like to volunteer to help with the reconstruction efforts…)
Japan is a country prone to natural disasters! Why not think seriously about how to cope and survive in such a disaster, taking it into your own hands?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
竜巻の襲来を受けた町、、、
宿主が足しげく通うのは、そのお店があるからだけではありません。
そこに海があるからです。
白い女神がチャームポイントのビーチです。
しかしながら、今回訪問時、海岸沿いの駐車場は閉鎖され、災害ゴミの受け入れ・集積場所になっていました。
その量の多さに、竜巻被害の深刻さを実感しました。
東日本大震災以来、宿主ができる限り現地に赴いて、その被害を目の当たりにする体験、、、自然災害ツーリズムとでも呼べるでしょうか、、、
実際に体感するからこそ、いつか自身が被災する時にも、対応できる、効果的な準備ができる貴重な経験だと信じています。
（本当は復興支援ボランティアもしたいのですが、、、）
自然災害大国、にっぽん！どう対処するか・サバイバルするか、自分自身のリスクとして真剣に考えてみませんか？
