Japanese Title (邦題)： 「見覚えのある町」末尾に
A familiar town
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
While watching the news about the natural disaster occurred earlier this month, a familiar town appeared on the TV screen.
It was a scene of an upside-down car in the parking lot in front of my favorite shop.

As I frequently travel long distances, the scenery I see along the way remains fresh in my mind, and the moment I see a news image I know, “Ah, that’s it!”
A tornado had hit the area near a nursery school where a child left behind on a school bus and got killed …I don’t really want to encounter such sad news about a town I know.
I sincerely hope that this town will be restored to its former state as soon as possible.

見覚えのある町
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
今月初めに起きた自然災害のニュースを見ていて、画面に見覚えのある町が映し出されました。
それは行きつけのお店の前の駐車場で、車がひっくり返っている画像でした。

頻繁に長距離を行ったり来たりしていると、その途中の光景も頭に残っているもので、見た瞬間「あ、あそこだ！」と分かります。
過去に保育園児童が通園バスに置き去りにされた事件が起きた保育園の近くで、今度は竜巻の被害、、、知っている町の辛いニュースにはあまり遭遇したくないですね。
この町が一日も早く元のように復興されることを心より祈念いたします。
