Living in the hometown may seem inconvenient,
but overall I feel there are more benefits than disadvantages.
Thanks to the benefit, our rice will likely be able to hold out until the price reaches the 2,000yen as declared by our new Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
My parents’ personal networks are still functioning in my hometown, so I am grateful for the rural life that I can get precious rice from relatives who grow rice.
This is the joy of making a U-turn rather than an I-turn.

P.S. The rice stock at my usual supermarket is changing rapidly, and it seems that this is the rice mixed with government stockpiled rice. I wonder if this will really be 2,000 yen?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
ふるさとで生活するということは、
不便に思われがちですが、
総合的に考えると、メリットの方が多いというのが実感です。
そんなメリットのおかげでこれも新農水大臣が宣言した二千円になる頃までは持ち堪えられそうです。
ふるさとでは親の人的ネットワークがまだ機能しているので、米づくりをしている親戚から譲っていただけるありがたい田舎生活です。
Iターンではなく、Uターンならではの醍醐味です。

P.S. いつものスーパーで在庫の入れ替わりが激しくて、いまはこれが備蓄米混入のようです。これが本当に2,000円になるのかなぁ？
