There is a map application that I have been using for a long time when driving.
Especially at the first time in a city, I can’t live without it.
I usually use it when driving, but sometimes I’m surprised and wonder, “Wow, can this show me this amazing route?!”
This time, when I used this map app while walking, I was even more surprised.
“Seriously, this is giving me instructions on such like this!”

The map data inside is provided by an excellent information company in this town, Kitakyushu.
I was really surprised at how amazing the directions were when I used this app in the hometown.
This is truly local production for local consumption of information.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
ここのところ運転時にはずっと重宝している地図アプリ。
特に初めての街では手放せません。
普段は運転時に活用しているのですが、時折「え〜、こんなすごい道を教えてくれんの？！」と驚かされます。
今回、歩行時に利用してみてさらに驚かされました。
「マジでえ”〜、こんなところを指示するの！」
いや、地図アプリはたしかにそう言ってます。
中身の地図データはこの町、北九州の優良情報企業が提供しているもの。
地元で利用するとすごい道を案内してくるんだなぁと本気で驚きました。
これぞまさに情報の地産地消！
