Easy but deep ZEN teaching, SENGAI!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
YURAKUCHO, Tokyo. Idemitsu Museum is located in Teikoku Theater Bldg in that town. The exhibition of Sendai is held there now.
I didn’t know the exhibition of Sendai there.
I just wanted to see Idemitsu Headquarters, but I decided to see it after considering about 10min, because 1,000JPY is a pretty expensive for me to see such simple drawings.
But it was cheap, after all. (May just for myself)
Sendai created such soft but deep works as his life work. And he made those works impromptu, and gave them to the people.
Sengai is fantastic, isn’t it?
His works, which I like best are:
Of course, the work, Mr. Sazou Idemitsu first got, “Shigetsu Hotei Gasan (Moon pointing god)”.
But that is not my very best.
My Very Best is:
“Twin Cranes”, which Sazou-san obtained as his last correction.
The words, teaching on this work, are wonderful!
Crane lives Thousand years.
Turtle lives Ten Thousand years.
I lives till the completion of my heavenly order.
Sense of “living with heavenly order” is above my imagination.
I guess that Sazou-san of his last period understood this sense and accept these words.
I do even not know my heavenly order, assigned to myself.

やさしくて、ふか〜い禅の教え、、、仙厓！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
東京は有楽町、帝国劇場のビルにある出光美術館、その隣の出光美術館で開催中の「大仙厓展」。
実はこのイベント開催を知らずに、「出光興産本社」を見に行っただけだったのですが、入ってしまいました。 1,000円という入館料が痛いので、10分ぐらい悩みましたが、、、
結論から言うと、1,000円は安かった！
あくまでも自分にとってですが、、、
あんなやさしく（優しく／易しく）て、深い禅の教えを、まぁるい絵に乗せて、それをサラサラっとその場で即興に書いて、人々に渡していたなんて、、、
スゴいですね、仙厓！
自分が気に入ったのは、、、
佐三さんが最初に手に入れた「指月布袋画賛」はもちろん。
さらに「心にササッた」のが、最後に手に入れたと書いてあった「双鶴画賛」。
何が良かったって、そこに書いている教えです。
鶴ハ千年
龜ハ萬年
我れハ天年
人として天命を生き抜くという感覚がスゴいですよね。
この言葉、晩年の佐三さんは心底納得して受け入れられたことと思います。
自分は天命を果たすどころか、まだそれが何なのかも分かっていません。
