Fine Gift from the Island!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Recently I am talking about air gateway of Yamaguchi.
But the postman of the island brought special gift yesterday.
It was very fine gift from the sea, so I post about it.
Turban Shells (called SAZAE in Japanese)
Yes, the island is AINOSHIMA.
where I visited few weeks ago. Used be called as “a cat’s island”
Grilled turban shells were so nice with other autumn seafood in Japan.
I really appreciate that I can eat Japanese food here.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
山口の空の玄関口についての記事を連載中ですが、、、
昨日、島のポストマンがとてもうれしいお土産を持ってきてくれました。
キレイな海からの素敵なギフトだったので、まずはそのことを記事に、、、
新鮮な活きサザエ！（動いてましたぁ）
そうです。島とは「藍島」。
先日訪れた、最近まで「猫の島」と呼ばれていたところです。
他の秋の食材とともに、炭火で調理して美味しくいただきました。
日本人に生まれて、関門に住んでて、良かったなぁと実感する瞬間でした。
