Tobacco is a kind of drink!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Warehouses along the port is a symbol of port town.
One day, one sign on an old warehouses caught my attention.
I have heard that people are saying in Hokkaido but here in Kitakyushu tobacco has been a kind of drink historically.
However I have kept attention, when I find people with tobacco smoking in his hand, and in most cases they through tobacco away onto the road, instead of into their mouths.

たばこは飲み物！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
港に沿って並ぶ倉庫群は、港町の象徴です。
とある古い倉庫の壁に掲示されている看板に目が留まりました。
「カレーは飲み物」という表現を北海道で聞くことがありますが、、、
どうも北九州では、昔っからタバコは飲み物だったようです。
窓から出た手からのぼる煙を見つけると、いつ飲むのか注意して見ているのですが、残念ながら口の中ではなくて道路に捨てられることが多いようです。
