Not Colorful but Powerful!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
In Kanmon area, it was clear and we could feel hot sunshine on Saturday.
When we watched at Kanmon Strait, there is a non-colorful ship was moving toward west.
Not colorful, but this ship is super powerful.
Once it went out from strait, it speeded up at super fast.
The speed was a little less than BEETLE, jetfoil.
(BEETLE is a small boat with length about 30m. But this ship is big as 108m. Normal big ship move about 20knot. Beetle run 39knot. This ship is pretty big but it can speed up to 35knot = about 60km/h.)
The name of this ship is:
“GUAM”.
And US Navy has it.
(The destination of Guam was Pohang and Okinawa. It is sensitive time between U.S. and North Korea and Guam moved max speed to Korea. What is the order she had? )
Anyway, it is a High Speed Ro-Ro Vessel, I have wanted to see. And it was a happy Saturday for me.

地味だけど、スゴいんです！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
土曜日の関門海峡。
スッキリ晴れて、日差しは午前中から熱く感じるほどでした。
そんな関門海峡を眺めていると、、、
なんか大きくて、地味〜ぃなのが西へ進んでいきます。
でも、この船、、、実はスゴいんです。
一旦海峡から外洋に出るや、超高速でかっ飛んでいきます。
そのスピードは博多〜釜山感を浮遊して飛んでいく「ジェットフォイル」BEETLEに迫るほど。（BEETLEは全長30mほどの小さな水中翼船ですが、この船は108mもある大型船です。普通の本船は外洋を20ノット前後で進むところ、BEETLEだと39ノット、その大きさにもかかわらず、この船はそれに迫る35ノット＝時速60km程で進みます。）
この船の名前は、、、
“GUAM” （アメリカ海軍高速輸送艦）
アメリカ海軍の持ち物です。
（この後、米韓合同訓練がよく行われる韓国浦項、そのあと沖縄に用事があるようでした。時期が時期だけにフルスピードで何の用事だったんでしょうね？）
ずっと見てみたかった船だったので、ちょっと嬉しい土曜日でした。
これからしばらく関門海峡見てて飽きない日が続きます。
