Sightseeing spot in Golden Week?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On the way back from bank at the last day of April, I took photos of this port town.

I believe that Japanese Golden Week started on April. 29th.
I have thought that our home port town is a sightseeing spot now.

I reported about the town at end of March. It was before the emergency declaration was announced but it was just after Fukuoka pref. requested us to refrain from going out without necessary reason. There were still people walking around the area, but there is nobody now one month later.

This town doesn’t have so many people in normal weekday but I have never seen such quiet town without anyone since I came back to this town 4 years ago.

There is no car in parking lots where many cars make line on weekend.

It is like a port town on tourism brochure.

I felt very strange to see water sparking from fountain in the front yard of the station.

ゴールデンウィーク中の観光地？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

月末最終日、銀行に行く途中に、わが港町を写真におさめてみました。

たしか日本ゴールデンウィークの定義は4月29日からですよね？
たしかふるさとの港町は観光地になったんですよね？

3月末にもこの町の様子を記事にしました。その時はまだ国の緊急事態宣言前でしたが、福岡県としては「不要不急の外出自粛要請」を出した直後のタイミングでした。
あの時にはまだまだ散策をしている観光客がいたのが、１ヶ月経って、まったくいなくなりました。

普段の平日には人が少ないことが恒例ですが、ここまで人がいない町をみたのは、４年前に戻って以来初めてです。

週末には車が並ぶ駐車場もガラガラです。

パンフレットに載るような、誰もいないレトロな町です。

人が誰もいないのに、噴水だけがはじけているのが、とても不思議な感覚でした。

それでは、静まり返る夏日の港町で素敵な一日を！
