This is the style of this guesthouse

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

staycation00

We found a new Japan-made English word introduced in a TV program.

It is called “STAYCATION”.

staycation01

It seems that Staycation was mixed word of Stay and Vacation. It is introduced as the new style of traveling focusing accommodation stay mainly.

Immediately, we think of some new ideas of our Staycation plan for our guests in this guesthouse.

However, by taking a step back and watching ourselves rationally, I noticed that our hosting/living style is “long term Staycation” for six years.

I have always explored around this area and shared timely, brand-new and best local information with our guests, just like I am a traveler who is staying here together at same time.

Our hosting/living style is exactly the same like traveler in the middle of staycation. Of course, we share this strait view from here and living in this atmosphere.

Thank you and you have a nice day with good, fresh and vivid information.

Tasty Event!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As we feel sorry only showing fine winter food, we introduce one local tasty event where you can enjoy winter speciality of this town.

winterspeciality07

If our guests staying here in same timing as the event, we will get BBQ pit for us, even by standing in the line
in front of reception on the event day.

As usual, design of event flyer is completely same as that of recent several years and we cannot see any effort to promote this event.

kakimatsuri00(”find the difference”)

It means that no effort is necessary to promote this event and to get enough participants. Yes, this is very popular event to local people. (such as Kanmon Strait Fireworks Festival in summer.

Both ways are very good!

Both ways are very good!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As we got more than expected, we tried different way.

When I went abroad, I saw raw oyster is the most popular way to eat oyster, but baking oyster seems to be major here. They may not like to take risk, I thought. Because it is my standard to eat raw at first.

winterspeciality06

This time, I tried to bake some of them after a long time. And I felt oysters grow here may be better to be baked. Because soup which remain on shell after we ate oyster meat is so tasty.

Don’t you come here and try our oyster “Buzen Hitotsubu Kaki?
Please try both “raw” and “baked” oysters!

Thank you and you have an unusual nice day.
