It is rising up!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In the Saturday night, full moon was rising up from the mountain.

It was rounder, more red and bigger than the harvest moon of previous day, Friday.
(Japanese people believe that harvest moon is Sep.13 on our calendar.)

It is natural because full moon is Saturday, Sep.14, according to lunar table.

土曜の夜、前日の中秋の名月より、さらに丸く、さらに赤く、さらに大きな満月が昇ってきました。

Feel the autumn!

In this guesthouse, it is not special because we always watch it with our guests all the year round. But we watched it, because it looks very beautiful Friday night.

当宿の場合、年がら年中ゲストと眺めているので、特に特別感はないのですが、キレイだったのであらためて眺めてみました。

Proactive!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It is morning but topic about last night.

According to the age table, it must be full moon on Wednesday, yesterday. However it was cloudy with a little shower.

But we predicted the weather already as of Monday, and we had watched the moon with our guests on Tuesday, the one day before.

As one guest has smart phone application of celestial map, we watched Jupiter and Saturn together.

前もって！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

朝だけど、夜の話題。

暦の上では、昨日水曜日は満月。
しかしながらあいにくの小雨がパラつくくもり空。

でも月曜時点で予測はしていたので、前日の火曜日にゲストと一緒に観月会を楽しみました。
