Cherry Buds filled out and almost bursting here too, at the most popular spot, KOKURA Castle.

Usually KOKURA Castle is good place to enjoy YO-ZAKURA (cherry blossoms in the night).
But it seems no light until the end of March.
If you want to enjoy YO-ZAKURA, you had better come April 1st or later.

In addition, on April 1, YOKOZUNA (champion) sumo wrestler will come to the shrine next to KOKURA castle. You may be able to see him or bunch of people around castle.

One more. Flowering forecast around Fukuoka is getting earlier than previous day.
It is now March.22. (Wow only one week to go!)

It takes about 16-18 min from our guest room to KOKURA Castle. Very convenient! Please utilize TOUKA for your cherry‐blossom viewing in Japan.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

画像は３月１５日時点のものです。

このあたりで一番のスポット小倉城でも、桜のつぼみがはち切れんばかりに膨らんでいます。

例年小倉城は夜桜の名所でもあるのですが、今年は工事のため３月いっぱいのライトアップはないそうです。 夜桜を愛でたい方は４月１日以降をお勧めします。

bud05（とはいっても、こう開花が早いと散っちゃうかもですね。）

加えて、４月１日には日馬富士が八坂神社で土俵入りをするようです。（春場所弱いですが大丈夫でしょうか？）横綱は見れそうにはありませんが、見物客は増えそうですね。

さらに、３月１５時点で開花予想が繰り上がっています。福岡はなんと３月２２日です。

さあ、開花まであと１週間足らず、
それでは、どうぞつぼみのように夢もふくらむ素敵な一日を！

If you want to enjoy No.1 flower spot in this city, you should be there.

Hmm, it is perfect, except too many people, smell of food and beers.

If you want to enjoy flower only with your precious person or by yourself, you should not be there.

By the way, do you know that JR station sign board has the symbol sign of the area in its center?
Then, do you know what is the symbol of Komorie station?

Please do not mind. You are not only one who don’t know.

This is Komorie’s symbol and not so many people know it.

Please keep all these cherry blossoms to yourself.

Flower spot everyone know is not more precious than flower spot known by only limited people.

Why don’t you try to enjoy both this year?
Both of them are easy to go from TOUKA.

And there are more rare flower spots we can advice you.

Anyway, end of March to beginning of April will be the best season.

Please be prepared for the flowers. The best season is very short.

ナンバーワン？ それとも オンリーワン？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

まもなく、あの花の季節がやって来ます。

もし、この辺りでナンバーワンのお花見スポットに行きたいとしたら、やはりココでしょう。

青空をバックに、白いお城と薄ピンク色の花、、、
それはもう完璧なコントラストです。

但し、人混みに食べ物や、お酒の匂いを除けば、、ね。

もし大切な人とだけ、もしくは自分ひとりで満開の花を静かに楽しみたければ、そこでは無理かもしれません。

ところで、JR九州の駅名ボードの中央にはその駅周辺の有名な何かがシンボル化されているのをご存知でしょうか？
それでは、小森江のボードには何がシンボル化されているかご存知ですか？

分からずとも気にすることはありません。
知っている人は（気にしている人も）少ないです。

日本人が花を愛でるにあたり、誰もが知っている有名な花が、人知れず咲く花より有り難いということはありません。

Strange View?

Many ships are passing through Kanmon Straits everyday.

We can see them everyday from guest rooms in TOUKA.

But sometimes strange thing happens here.

なんか変？

毎日たくさんの船が海上交通の要所、ここ関門海峡を行き交っています。

「灯火」の客室からは毎日・毎晩その様子を眼下に見下ろします。

時には不思議な光景を見ることもあり、
