Because of Arctic Oscillation!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Dear our precious guests:

Recent several days, it is very cold in Japan, as I mentioned on previous articles. It will be cold next several days.

Please do not expect warm/moderate weather.

Japan is cold as well as European countries and East U.S. this year.

This is because of Arctic Oscillation,
Global level climate phenomenon.

However,

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ゲストの皆さまへ：

ここ数日の日本はとても寒いです。そしてこれから数日も引き続き寒いそうです。

ここ九州にくるからと暖かくてマイルドな気候を期待しないほうが良さそうです。

異常気象はどうも日本だけでないようで、欧州の国々や、アメリカの東海岸でもかなり寒くなっているようです。

これは「北極振動」によるものらしく、地球規模の気象現象だそうです。

けれども、、、

おかげで「灯火」から望む夕焼けはめちゃめちゃキレイです。

Feel like being a GAIJIN!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I have just experienced wonderful feeling which some of our guests felt in Japan.

After swimming in brand-new pool, I found out that I lost one thing after I came back home.

It was a small coin purse. There was several hundred yen in it and I thought it will never come back.

But it was at Lost and Found window of the sports center.

I didn’t surprise in the past but I admire the characteristic of Japanese very much this time. Because I saw not a few guests had same experience during their travel.

Don’t you come and visit to the wonder country, in where people think it is natural, but tourists feel amazing.

However there are many non-Japanese people in Tokyo and Osaka. You had better travel local county side of Japan.

P.S. Unfortunately there was one time a guest lost but never found it again. He lost his passport issued in Singapore. We feel item such as passport will be brought to lost and found but not in his case. He put cash of Korean Won and Chinese Yen with his passport. That was whole amount he was planning to spend them at each country on the way back his home. We Japanese feel really sorry to him.

ガイジン気分を味わう！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

過去当宿「灯火」を利用いただいたゲストの皆さんが体験した「日本でスゴく良かった経験」を期せずして、自分も体験することになりました。

新しく出来たプールで最終＝夜10時近くまで泳いだのですが、帰宅後にある物を失くしていることに気付きました。

小銭入れです。中には500円玉を含む800余円が入っていたのですが、小銭入れだし、出てこないだろうなぁ、と半ば諦めていたところ、、、

なんと、落し物窓口に届いていました。

昔ならそれほど感動しかいかもしれませんが、ゲストの皆さんが落とし物をして、それが見つかる日本のスゴさを感心する姿をよく見ているので、あらためて「日本ってスゴいなぁ」と再認識しました。

住んでる人間には当たり前だけど、スゴいことが起こる国日本、一度いらしてみませんか？

ただ、最近東京・大阪辺りでは日本人でない人も多くいるので、スゴくないかも。

それでは、どうぞ当たり前でスゴい素敵な一日を！

P.S. これまで唯一落し物が出てこなかったのは、シンガポールからのゲストのパスポート。

物がパスポートなだけに、出てきても良さそうなものですが、ポーチに一緒に入っていたのが、帰国までに立ち寄る国で使う予定だった現地通貨のキャッシュ（韓国ウォンと中国人民元）。日本人としては余計に残念な紛失劇となりました。

The things to do by this city!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On the previous article, I introduced a sightseeing spot where active tourists from Hong Kong visited.

We have kept recommending the spot, whenever we have been asked good photo spot by our guests who were staying long in TOUKA. To tell the truth, the spot have getting more and more tourists recently. Why did it become so popular nowadays? Because an American mass media, which has been bushed by current president of U.S., has focused this spot. Yes, it is CNN.

A news was broadcasted recently that City of Nagato, where the spot located, commended CNN.

By the way, do you know the spot on the very first page in “Japan’s 34 most beautiful places” CNN has reported, including above shrine on the third page?

It is the garden in our city.

At the garden, similar phenomenon has happened like the shrine in these years.

Does our local government do anything to CNN?

これでいいのか？わが地元！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

前記事で紹介しましたが、アグレッシヴな香港人ツーリストが「灯火」日帰り観光で訪れた観光地。

これまでも長期滞在されるゲストさんに、フォトジェニックな場所を尋ねられるとオススメしている場所ですが、実はここ数年で観光客が激増している人気スポットです。その火付け役は日本のメディアではなく、なんと大統領に叩かれているアメリカのメディア CNNです。

つい先日このスポットが立地する土地の地元自治体よりCNNに対して特別表彰が送られたことがニュースで報じられていました。

ところで、このCNNが特集している“Japan’s 34 most beautiful places”、つまり「日本の最も美しい場所34選」、一頭最初にどこが紹介されているかご存知ですか？（香港人旅行者の行ったスポットは3番目です。）

最初に載っているのは、わが町にあるスポットなんです。

実際、その場所でも長門市と同じような現象が起こっているのですが、、、

当該自治体はなんにもしないのかな？
（もしかして、交通渋滞が起きる原因を作ったと苦情でも訴えたいのか？）
