Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
In Japan, we are in the middle of the third wave of COVID-19 pandemic and situation got critical this week. As of yesterday Dec. 14, our government announce to stop tourism promoting program “Go To Travel” in temporary period, Dec. 28 – Jan. 11.
As we are also in tourism industry, we can easily predict that our business will go back to harder situation.
Coincidentally Oumi -san, a pretty NHK’s newscaster, introduced my e-mail in morning TV program and she read my pen-name TOUKA wrong. She said TOMOSHIBI (which means “candle light flickering in the wind and almost burins out”). However we may be really like TOMOSHIBI, as she said.
I could not attach this picture onto the mail, so I show it here now.
The sky will be clear soon, after her introducing my e-mail.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
今日本は感染拡大の第三波の渦中にあって、昨日付で政府が観光支援策「Go To トラベル」の一時停止を決定しました。
当宿も観光業界にあって、またまた厳しい状況に逆戻りです。
折しも、投稿したメールをNHK近江アナに読んでもらったところで、読み間違えられた名前の通り、風前の「ともしび」になってしまいそうです。
投稿メールにその場で撮った画像が添付できなかったので、ここでご紹介します。
このあと北風に曇り空は吹き飛ばされて、青空になりました。
