Once in the lifetime!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
After staying in Tokyo for several days, I restarted staying around Mount Fuji Area. This is about the third day in Fuji.
I have heard that there is a precious scenery there which can be seen only two time in a year and each time is about a week long. I have wanted to see it one day and challenged it this time.
It was heavy rain on the previous day, Saturday. It was so heavy like waterfall that I try not to go out from my car even to go to men’s room.
Furthermore, I had to think that many people with cameras would get together there to see the scenery because the next day was Sunday. Anyway I went to bed with the sound of rain hitting the roof top of my car as a lullaby.
However,
it was very quiet, when I wake up next morning. I could not hear even the sound of wind.
The area around the lake was covered in mist. We had 30 more minutes before the sun rise. And the sun will come out behind the mountain the time of the show would be a little later than the sunrise. So I enjoyed relax time in the gray of dawn with a mug of hot coffee.

This is so called “the Diamond Fuji”, the mountain of Japan. It was really the scenery to be seen once in a lifetime.
Considering it was my first time taking the scenery, it is a good one, isn’t it?
After taking this picture, I want to have a good mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera, on which special filter for diamond like light can be mountable.

死ぬ前に一度は見ておきたい！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
東京滞在を挟んでの、富士滞在 第三日目。
年に二度だけ、各１週間ぐらいしかチャンスの訪れない光景。一度見てみたいとチャレンジしましたが、、、
前日の土曜日は滝のような大雨。トイレに行くのに車外に出るのも躊躇してしまうほどの勢い。
さらに当日は日曜なので、カメラマニアたちが大挙して押しかけることも覚悟し、ルーフに打ち付ける雨の音を子守唄に眠りにつきました。
ところが、、、
朝目覚めると、あたりはとても静かです。風の音もしません。
湖畔に立つと、対岸はガスっています。日の出までには３０分ほどあります。高いところから登る日の出はさらに遅くなることも考慮するとチャンスはあると信じて熱いコーヒーでも飲みながら待つことにしました。

ザ・にっぽんの山、、、一生に一度は見ておきたい瞬間です。
初めてのチャレンジにしては、まあまあの成果でしょ？
ダイヤモンドみたいに輝くように見えるフィルターが使えるミラーレス一眼が欲しくなりました。経費で手に入れようかな？（笑）
