Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
I have learned a very important thing in the rabbit island reported ON the previous article.
It is not that rabbits are pretty.
The island used to be called “a poison gas island”, not a rabbit island.
But the important thing I learned was not its sad and horrible history but that the island has utilized pretty animal, rabbits , as tourist attraction and developed itself as a popular sightseeing spot.
Tourists who visit the island find the real history and study about people who suffer from the poison gas which had once produced there. It is an exquisite combination, isn’t it?
The disaster we are being suffered now can be turned into fortune someday in future?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
先に紹介した「うさぎ島」。訪問してみて大切なことを学びました。
うさぎが可愛かったことではありません。
その島がかつて「うさぎ島」ではなくて「毒ガス島」だったことです。
けれども学んだのは、その哀しくも恐ろしい歴史ではなくて、そんなネガティブな一面を持ちながらも、同じ歴史の中で増えたうさぎを観光資源に多くの観光客を魅了してきたことです。
うさぎを目的に島を訪れた人が、日本軍の毒ガス戦略と巻き込まれた人たちのことに触れる機会を持つ、、、なんとも絶妙で際どい組み合わせです。
今現在、自分たちを苦しめている疫病という災害も、いつかは「福となす」ことができるのでしょうか。
それでは、災いを福にしてしまうぐらい素敵な一日を！
