This is the area limited traditional sweet!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
The name of the plant leaf I introduced in previous article is GAME leaf.
A traditional Japanese sweet which used the leaf is the food specially made in northern Fukuoka area. Of course, this is home made GAME leaf rice cake.
Please refer following HP of MAFF for the reason why people in northern Fukuoka start to make this sweet.

Recently, Japanese people tend to eat same food for nationwide event. I think that such area limited food is precious food culture for us.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
前回の記事で紹介した植物、、、がめの葉といいます。
この葉っぱを使った和菓子が福岡県北部に特有の食べ物となります。もちろん、こちらは自家製のがめの葉もちになります。
なぜ福岡県北部で作られるようになったかは下の農林水産省のHP参照ください。

近年では全国行事に食べ物も全国統一化しようとする流れが一般化する中（恵方巻など）、こうした地域限定食材の存在は貴重です。
