On the rainy Friday, I arrived just after big sailboat was docked at west quay of Mojito.
I took many photo of the ship.
When I almost finish taking, a big wagon arrived at gangway. With women who held flowers, a man came out from the wagon.
He is one of my class mates.
Not to get wet by rain, he was in hurry climb the gangway and boarded on the sailboat.

I was born in this town and grew up until age of 18 here. But I don’t know famous local specialty here. And friends of mine also don’t know.
The local Specialty is “Baked Curry Rice”.
This spring, I have ate it for the first time. The taste was good but not too good, as I imagined.
So I was looking for real local “good” food. This summer, my senior at the high school recommended me to visit this restaurant. She also taught me the owner of the shop is a celebrity and my school mate working at the restaurant.
The speciality of the restaurant is:
*CHANRAR!
(*CHANPON Noodle with simple ramen soup.)
I believe that CHANRAR is more orthodox than baked curry rice.
Because of its unique taste and texture, I have come the restaurant sometimes since that. (with appreciating to the price of 450JPY. *Above pic is Chanrar Set 550JPY.)
Taste is so fine that many people want to come there again.
The location is same street (almost next door) of Idemitsu Museum. So I recommend to the people who are planning to visit the museum to try CHANRAR which can be a good topic about Mojiko.
The home town where classmate and school mate are active in working individual field. It is not enough time passed since I came back this town, but I really want to be active like them soon.
This town is the place where gave me special energy like this.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
先の記事からの続きです。
＜華と帆船に乗り込む男＞
雨の金曜日、大きな帆船が門司港の西海岸に着眼した直後に岸壁に到着しました。
寄港が大々的に広報されなかったこともあってか、ギャラリーが一人もいない中、思う存分 船の写真を撮ることが出来ました。
ほぼ撮り疲れた頃、一台の大型ワゴンがタラップに乗り付けました。
その車から花束を抱いた女性たちと降りてきたのは、同級生。
雨にあたらぬよう、急ぎ足でタラップを登り、帆船の中に消えていきました。

この街で生まれ、高校まで過ごした自分は、実は観光ガイドで一般的に言われている「ご当地名物料理」に馴染みがありません。 不思議なことに、同級生のほとんどにその料理は認知されていません。
その名物料理とは、、、
「焼きカレー」。
この春、船舶免許の更新手続きをした場所が、焼きカレーの有名なお店の近くだったので、初めて食べてみました。 味は「予想通り」のおいしさ。可も不可もない味でした。
そんなときに学校の先輩から紹介されたのが、こちらのお店。なんでも郷土出身のタレントが経営するお店とのことです。それも同級生が働いているということに驚きました。
そんなお店の看板メニューがこちら、
「チャンラー」。
ちゃんぽんの麺で作った、シンプルスープの麺料理です。
正統派郷土食ならむしろこちらなのかもしれません。
他にない味と食感が気に入って、それ以来ときどき食べに来るようになりました。

カレーもいいけど、チャンラーもね！
タレントショップか否かにかかわらず、リピートしたくなるオススメのお店です。
「出光美術館」の並びにあるといってもいい絶好のロケーションなので、出光コレクション鑑賞の前後には是非。お腹いっぱいでも食べれちゃう不思議な味です。門司での土産話にもなること間違いなし、イチオシの一杯です。

というわけで、同級生達が活躍する街。
戻って来てまもない自分も活躍できるように頑張ろうと、不思議な力をもらう素敵な土地なのでありました。
