Get sleepy?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It is beautiful morning, but let us talk about night!

These days, many guests look very sleepy at the time of their check-in, we feel.

The biggest reason must be this!

According to our guests, they reply to us like “We couldn’t sleep last night”, “We woke up 2am to go to the airport”, “We slept at airport” and so on.

This town is the place where time passes so slow and we want them to travel more relaxing atmosphere.

The night is going on, it is the best timing to watch beautiful thin moon.

But we bet they fell asleep without watching this.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

朝なのに、夜の話題！

最近、チェックイン時点で眠そうなゲストさんがとても多い気がします。

そのわけはコレかな？！

聞けば「昨日から寝てない」とか、「２時起きで空港」とか、「空港で寝ました」とか、、、、

この町はゆっくり時間の流れる町だから、もっとゆったりと旅ができるようになってほしいですね。

関門の夜は更けて、今、月が綺麗なタイミングなんですが、、、

嵐を呼ぶ男達、ついでに雷も！/ Guys who brought storm and thunder!

Guys who brought storm and thunder!

The weekend in Kanmon area was stormy weather caused by typhoon #5 “Danas”. We had very active guests who can blow the storm away.

They changed their reservation with adding member just before check-in and that made us very upset. However we welcomed them with study tour setting for students. (They are almost 30 years old though. smile)

It seems that they arrived Kitakyushu by early morning flight. So they could not sleep last night and started their sightseeing in sleepy condition. After check-in, they enjoyed small party here with convenience food and went to bed pretty early. Soon we could hear bass sound like thunder from their room.

They said they have been close friends since high school days. They kept smiling when they checked out.

However they could not reach to the next destination YUFUIN because bus was cancelled due to highway shutdown by the typhoon.

They were really fun guests who had come with the storm and gone with the storm. And sleep like thunder!

嵐を呼ぶ男達、ついでに雷も！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

台風５号の影響で荒れ模様となった週末の関門エリア。
荒天を吹き飛ばすぐらい元気なゲストさんグループにご利用いただきました。

チェックイン直前にメンバーが増えてあたふたしましたが、なんとか修学旅行のようなセッティングで滞在いただきました。

早朝到着便で北九州空港に到着したとのこと、前日から寝ずに関門観光に突入！チェックイン後はコンビニ・フードで盛り上がり、早めに就寝！部屋からは雷のような低い音も聞こえてきました。

高校時代からの仲良し四人組だそうで、雨の中仲良く笑顔でチェックアウトされていきましたが、、、

次の目的地、由布院へのバスは台風の影響で高速道路が閉鎖されたため運休、仕方なく博多で過ごされたようです。

嵐とともにやってきて、雷のように寝て、嵐のように去っていった、とても楽しいグループでした。

北からの風に敏感です！/ Sensitive to the wind from north!

Sensitive to the wind from north!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Beaches in Kitakyushu are sensitive to the wind from north.

So is this guesthouse TOUKA.

We had young guests in the weekend who fly with Air Busan Daegu – Kitakyushu, which just start flying in this month.

Opening new flight route is good thing but international flights which depart/arrive Kitakyushu are extreme. In their case, they woke up 4am to come and 5am to go back.

We heard that what Korean tourists expect in trip to Kitakyushu is “Healing”. However it seems to be hard to get that “Healing”.

北からの風に敏感です！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

北九州のビーチは北からの風に敏感です。

ゲストハウス「灯火」も同様です。

就航したばかりの大邸ー北九州便を利用した若いゲストに早速この週末ご利用いただきました。

新路線は良いのですが、どうも北九州発着の国際線は運行時間の極端なのが多いです。彼らは来るのに４時起き、帰るのに５時起きだそうです。

韓国人観光客が北九州に求めるのは「癒やし」だそうですが、その「癒やし」を得るのも大変そうですね。
