Can’t wait

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Recently, the seasons have gone backwards,

and this year, 2024, the cherry blossoms will bloom later than originally predicted.

So, I couldn’t wait and went to see the early blooming cherry blossoms.

They are early bloomers (Kawazuzakura? Wild cherry?), so they were already starting to fall, but

I was able to enjoy the beautiful flowers against the blue sky.

By the way, the lighthouse is a national important cultural property.

The representative variety of Japanese cherry blossoms, “Somei Yoshino,” is scheduled to bloom this weekend.

We do want our guests to enjoy the cherry blossoms as well.

待ちきれなくて、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

最近になって、季節が逆戻りしたせいか、、、

当初の予測に対して、桜の開花が遅れている今年 2024年です。

というわけで、待ちきれなくなって、早咲きの桜を見に行ってきました。

早咲き（河津桜？山桜？）なので、もう散り始めていましたが、

青空をバックにきれいな花を楽しむことが出来ました。

ちなみに灯台は国の重要文化財です。

日本の桜の代表的な品種「そめいよしの」は今週末開花予定とのことです。

ゲストさんたちにもさくらの花を楽しんでもらいたいですね。

Good News for foreign travelers in Japan!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Dear travelers from foreign countries:

The SAKURA (Cherry Blossoms) flower condition is:
bloomed earlier than normal years. However they will keep blooming for longer period than usual, because of stable weather covered over Japan. So we will be able to enjoy a little less than one more week.

As there is not enough useful information reach to foreign tourists who is/will be in Japan timely, Guesthouse TOUKA will announce for you.

Specially in the area like Kanmon here, it is sure for us to enjoy next several days. Please come here to enjoy Sakura. You may need to enjoy them from the different view point as usual.

今年のさくらの状況は例年よりも早く開花・満開になりましたが、この後も気候が安定しているおかげで、まだしばらく一週間弱は楽しめるそうです。

日本に来る／いる外国人旅行者に向けて、こうした情報はタイムリーに届かないようで、当宿「灯火」から発信致します。

Unfortunately blooming in cold and severe weather.
