There are good and old Japanese lifestyles are still surviving here. It used to be familiar, but get lost in fast moving present time flow and flood of massive digital information.

The materials in fire were new year decorations of each family which contains family members wish and pray for sound health and well‐being of each family. Burning them around 15th of new year month is a custom of Japanese people. We can trash the decorations on garbage collection day, but I cannot stand it, because I feel that I am trashing my wish and pray into garbage box.

Don’t you come here to light on your nostalgic memories which are forgotten/hidden in the very deep part of your heart. (It may be valuable experience for tourists from foreign countries to touch fundamental but familiar culture in authentic Japanese life.)

Thank you and you have a nice day, not to trash your wish and pray.
