Keen sense of season!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Every time guests check out from this guesthouse on the last day of the stay, we are concerned whether she/he could enjoy staying here or not. That is always our biggest interest, even though TOUKA is a little/cheap guesthouse.

One day this week, a guest handed me one thing at the entrance hall.

It was a gift which she drew during her stay here.

She stayed here in TSUYU season and prepared a gift considering coming summer.

We are sure that we will remember her, when we will have TSUYU season every year.

旬感溢れる！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

滞在最終日の朝を迎え、ゲストがチェックアウトする時にいつも気になることは、当宿での滞在で満足されたかどうか？ たとえ安宿であっても一番気になります。

見送ろうと一緒に玄関を出た時に、ゲストさんから手渡されました。

滞在中に描いたという素敵なプレゼント。

梅雨に宿泊いただいたゲストさんからの、夏をも意識した贈り物です。

きっとこれから梅雨を迎えるたびに、このゲストさんのこと思い出すだろうな。

Something Nostalgic!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Yesterday, I found a coloring pattern which is something nostalgic to me.

It was a wrapping color bus which has repainted coloring as the trams used be running in this home town.

That bus reminded me 3 years of my high school days I had commuted with the tram and a beautiful senior student of high school in neighboring town who had used same tram. Good old memories of my high school days which was kept in the deep part of my brain came out suddenly.

どこか懐かしい！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。

街でふと懐かしいカラーリング・パターンに遭遇しました。

かつて故郷を走っていた路面電車の復刻版ラッピングバスのようです。

その路面電車に乗って通学した３年間、同じ電車に乗っていた隣の高校のキレイな上級生のことなど、脳みその片隅にあった甘酸っぱい思い出が湧き出てきました。

A Little, Long and Happy!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It was heavy thunder storm last night and weather is not good now.
However it is wonderful morning for us.

It was today just 2 years ago, we opened this guesthouse TOUKA.

It has been fun 2 years with kind supporters and good guests.

In this guesthouse, there are many footprints of our guests from all over the world.
They are all wonderful memories for us.

We really think that we want to keep welcoming guests to be loved a little and long.
And we want to be happy together.

We are now preparing a little event to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary.

According to weekly forecast, it has been not good but latest forecast is showing better weather. We feel like a little light referring to the dark clouds. (Because we are TOUKA.)

細〜く、長〜く、そして楽しく！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

深夜からの雷雨で空模様はイマイチの朝ですが、とっても気分のいい朝です。

今からちょうど二年前、大安の日「灯火」はオープンしました。

支援していただいている皆さんや、素敵なゲストに利用してもらい二年が経ちました。

施設内には世界中からいらっしゃったゲストの足跡が残っています。
ゲストとの楽しい思い出がいっぱいです。

これからも細く、長く、でもとても楽しく「おもてなし」していきたい、そうあらためて感じています。

さて、日曜には二周年のささやかなイベントを準備中です。

週間予報で見ていてお天気が心配されていましたが、次第に都合の良い予報になってきて、日曜だけ暗雲に光がさす思いです（灯火だけに）。
