Worst cost performance!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
I was introducing the idea to switch places better for the next life stage.
Let us think about possibility of choosing this town for next stage, considering the idea. I did mention that many people are leaving Tokyo for Fukuoka pref. but it seems that most of them didn’t come to this town.
Kitakyushu has getting good reputations by various medias as the destination of emigration, however we cannot stop population outflow. Please refer the homepage of a member of city assembly who was transformed from a cosplaying city officer and you can get plain explanation.

Yes, actually Kitakyushu is not so popular as it is said.
Specially the activity of regional revitalization, including population recovery is very disappointing, as former city councillor mentioned.
For example, Kitakyushu has pretty big branch office in Tokyo on the 6th flow in the same building in which “Furusato Returning Promotion Center” is locating, introduced by the news program reporting about excessive move-out from Tokyo, which is locating on the 8th floor. When I make a query about this town at joint Fukuoka booth on 8th floor, I was led to the office 2 stories down. However unfortunately the window officer was outsourced person who doesn’t know this town very well.

In addition, the effect of multi-page advertising on the nationwide weekly magazine AERA as 55th year anniversary activity was very doubtful for stopping population outflow from the viewpoint of return on investment.
I’d like to come right to the point that it is the smartest idea for the people who are interested in this town to stay here actually without accepting information by the local government, media, events and so on.
For example, this city has been famous for antisocial forces such as YAKUZA. It has been improved very much as the result of effort of police dept. and local government.
However citizen’s manner level is unacceptable, such as
*too many cars drive into the crossings even after signal turns to red,
*too many cars are in the parking lots of gambling facilities represented by Pachinko Parlor,
*too many smokers (walking on the street with lighted cigarette in his hand, at smoking space in front of convenient stores and littering cigarettes from car windows) and so on.
Without living actually, we cannot notice such things.
If you are interesting to listen to honest voice of resident who has the eyes of Tokyo standard, please come and stay in this guesthouse. I will instruct you both merit and demerit honestly.

コスパ最悪！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
人生をステージ分けして、その節ごとで生き方を切り替える考えを紹介してきましたが、、、
では、そんな節を意識して、次の人生の舞台にわが町を選ぶという選択肢について考えてみます。先の記事で東京を離れて福岡県を目指す人が少なくないと記述しましたが、どうもその行き先は北九州ではないようです。
各種メディアに取り上げられながら、人口流出に歯止めがかからない現状については、コスプレ役所職員から華やかなる転身を遂げた市会議員のホームページをみるとわかりやすく解説していますので、そちらを参照ください。

そうなんです。言われているほど人気がない、、、それが現状です。
特に人口回復を含む地方創生の取り組みは、市会議員が言っているように残念なことばかりです。
例えば、先日放映された東京からの転出超過のニュースの中で紹介されていた「ふるさと回帰支援センター」にはデュアル生活する中で何度か訪問していますが、北九州の場合、8階の福岡県の合同ブースで問合せをすると、同ビルの６階にある市の東京事務所に通されるというVIP対応で、そこまでは良いのですが、そこでの対応者が業務委託を受けたこの町のことをよく知らない事務員だったりします。残念！
他にも市政55周年を記念して、週刊誌に特集を組んだ取り組みも、人口流出への歯止めという面で投資対効果がどれほどあったか疑わしいところです。
結論からいうと、Ｕターンを含めてわが町の今に興味のある人は、役所・メディア・イベント等で聞く内容を鵜呑みにせず、実際にこの地に来て、感じることが賢明です。
例えば、暴力団対策は、警察や自治体が一丸になった活動が功を奏してきた感覚はありますが、、、
信号が赤に変わっても交差点に突っ込んでいく車が異様に多い、とか
平日の昼間っからパチンコなどギャンブル施設の駐車台数が異常に多い、とか
喫煙者が多い（歩行喫煙者・コンビニ前の喫煙スペース・車窓からのタバコポイ捨て）など市民マナーなどは、実際に生活してみないと分からないことばかりです。
東京で生活していた人間の目で、この町に暮らして感じる良い点・悪い点・生の声に興味あれば、是非一度当宿にいらしてください。
