Full swing!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Summer is in full swing and infection is also in full swing now in Japan.

In April, May and June, I was sick and tired of hearing prime ministers saying “our biggest issue is COVID-19 countermeasures”

However now I rarely hear that. Is it only me who feel so?

Or our government may be too busy making countermeasures for their problem of connecting with certain religious group?

Lately I am sick and tired of hearing news “The number of infected people reached a record high again.”

In addition, we are hearing a new word “2.75” which is like OS new version.

BUT

Our government keep saying “basic measure” and introduce none of new measures and infection goes skyrocket.

In such situation, we are going into mid-summer.

Without any nationwide counter measure, we will be uncontrolled lockdown in medical service and infrastructure services, such as public transportation.

There won’t be national election soon, but I expect our government to tackle with infection seriously. Or they will create a breeding ground for future critical problems.

まさに本番！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

夏本番、感染拡大本番です！

４、５、６月ぐらいは「最大課題はコロナ対策」なんてフレーズで耳にタコが出来ていましたが、、、

選挙後はめっきり少なくなったなぁと感じているのは自分だけでしょうか？

もしかして、想定外の宗教団体との癒着問題の火消しが最大課題になっちゃったのかな？

最近では毎日のように報じられる「感染者数は過去最大数を更新」というフレーズで耳にタコができそうです。

さらに、2.75なんてOSのあたらしいバージョンみたいな言葉もチラホラと聞こえてきました。

な・の・に、、、

基本的対策をと繰り返すだけで、なんら新しいコロナ対策が話題になることもなく、感染者数はうなぎのぼり。

こんな状態のまま、夏も本番に突入です。

そろそろ全国的に感染対策に本腰を入れないと、医療サービス・交通等インフラサービスが意図せずロックダウンされてしまいそうな予感さえしてきます。

国政選挙はしばらくありませんが、未来に禍根を残す2022年にならぬよう政府にはしっかり感染対策を期待します。

それでは、現状からマスクの有効性にも疑問を感じるので、密を避けるを最優先に、素敵な一日を！

What a dishonourable ranking is this!

Finally, Fukuoka prefecture was ranked as the second worst in this country. Its promoting speed is skyrocketing!
(As of Jul.20, Fukuoka was 7th worst. I remember that it might be around 20th in the beginning of July.)

There is only one, Okinawa, worse than Fukuoka on the ranking list.

However everybody know that Okinawa is struggling between U.S.military base issue/too much relying on tourism industry and prefectural financing.

This data is very fair ranking, because it shows number of newly infected people per 100,000 population in a week.

We can say that it is the KPI（Key Performance Indicator) for COVID control of each local government.

Not like Okinawa, Fukuoka cannot make excuses to make anyone to be convinced.

Leaders and persons in charge of infection control in each local government (prefecture and two ordinance-designated cities) must investigate and open the root causes, make immediate measure and make their people to cooperate for it.

If they do nothing, it won’t take so long for Fukuoka to get the most disgraceful title.

As one person in tourism industry, I do want them to avoid such unfortunate situation.
(Specially tourists visiting Fukuoka pay accommodation tax for safe and fun travel. So do our guests. )

なんて不名誉なことでしょう！

とうとうワースト２位です。赤丸急上昇！
（7/20の時点では７位でした。たしか月初めは２０位くらいだったように記憶します。）

上には、ご存知 米軍基地問題や観光客受け入れと県財政との狭間で苦しむ沖縄県しかいません。

この数値、人口１０万人あたりの感染者数ということなので、とてもフェアな指標です。

各自治体のコロナ感染対策のKPI（重要業績評価指標）といっても過言ではないでしょう。

沖縄と違って、福岡県には感染の急拡大に皆が納得できるだけの正当な言い訳がありません。

自治体（県と両政令指定都市）の長と感染対策責任者とは、この原因を究明・公表し、早急に対策を県民に呼びかける必要があります。

考えずに何もしないでいるとワースト１位という最も不名誉な称号が授与されるのにそれほど時間はかからないでしょう。

観光業に携わる一員として、それだけは回避してもらいたいものです。
（うちのゲストさんも当該自治体に「宿泊税」まで払って利用いただいているのですから）

Rapid spread of infection, because of YAMAGASA festival!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Because we concern too much, I swapped the article to the following one.

As we saw that infection density in this pref. Fukuoka suddenly increased last week, we felt strong worry about it.

So we investigate the trend of infection, to defend our health and business. And we became even more worried.

What we found was that newly infected people started increasing just after the holidays.

Additionally, the tendency is remarkable specially in Fukuoka city.

So we looked back around the holidays and we remember “Hakata Yamagata Festival”.

The climax event “Oiyama” was held on Friday, July 15th, just before the holidays.

Then we searched by Google and found the word “Yamagata Cluster” on the search result screen.

However we could not find detail information even we click the title of the article.

So we search “Yamagata Cluster” in the Yahoo, which quote the news originally.

And we could find many info in the comment column.

According to some comments, we search into the twitter,

and there are tweets of real infected people and medical people in Fukuoka city.

The most strange thing is that none of local government, festival committee or mass medias have never mentioned about “Yamagata Cluster”.

Normally such cluster and big infection case should be opened and shared to prevent similar trouble in the society.

Is this systematic information hiding?!

Where is the conscience/compliance of Fukuoka?
(Not much different from Chinese, Russian and Myanmar government, isn’t it?)

Now we are in the mid-summer, there are more festivals and events are planned to be held soon.

We will also have Strait Great Fireworks Festival within 3 weeks.

We are preparing to host our guests during the event night.

Responsible action of responsible people is highly needed!

山笠ばやるけん、感染ったい！

＜実は別の記事を準備していたのですが、あまりにも心配になったので、直前で以下に差し替えました。＞

ニュースを見ていて、ここ福岡県の感染者密度が急に高くなってきたことに不安を感じました。

自らの健康とビジネスとを自衛する目的で、最近の感染推移を調べてみて、さらに不安になりました。

分かったのは、先の連休を境に感染者が急増していること。

さらにその傾向は県内でも特に福岡市で顕著なこと。

そこで連休前後のことを思い返すと、思い浮かんだのが「博多祇園山笠」。

連休直前の金曜15日にクライマックスの「追い山」を開催しています。
（実は久しぶりの平日追い山だったので、自分も見物を考えていたのですが、結局行きませんでした。）

そこでニュースをグーグル検索してみると、検索結果画面に「山笠クラスター」なる言葉が！

けれどもグーグル検索画面から対象記事をクリックしても、そんな言葉は出てきません。

そこで最初に記事を引用したYahooで記事を読み込むと、、、

出てきました、各記事のコメント欄に！

さらにそのコメント記載にあった（いつもはあまり見ない）twitterを見ると、

感染当事者・福岡市内医療関係者から祭り後のコロナ感染状況の生々しい情報が出てきました。

不思議なことはそのことを自治体も山笠の運営組織も、そしてマスメディアもほとんど取り上げていないことです。

クラスターや感染事例は本来早急に公開・横展開して、同様のクラスター防止を促す責任があるのに何故でしょう？

もしかして組織的な情報隠蔽？！

福岡の「良心」はいずこ？
（これじゃ中国・ロシアやミャンマーとあまり変わりませんね。）

「山笠クラスター」のインパクトは2022年の「流行語大賞」にノミネートされるほど強烈です。

時期は夏まっ盛り、今後もイベントやお祭りがたくさん予定されています。

わが町でも一大イベント「海峡大花火」の開催まで二週間を切っています。

当宿でもイベント日にゲストをお迎えする準備に余念がありません。

責任ある組織の責任ある行動が今こそ求められています。
