Our recommendation for these days

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This week, it is extremely hot here in Kanmon area.

We have had strong sunlight which is very hot.

Thanks to that, the best time and place we recommend is evening at the beach.

The sunset has been very beautiful everyday.

There are a few couples walking along the shore in the sunset. It must be the most wonderful time for them.

このところのオススメ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今週に入って関門エリアなんかすごく暑いです。

日差しが真夏のそれのようにギラギラと照りつけています。

で、その分オススメなのが、、、夕方。

毎日、夕陽がとってもきれいです。

夕日の中を大切な人と波打ち際を歩く、、、なんて素敵な時間を過ごされている人たちが数組。

A little favorite part!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

At the down town market after big fire.

There is a part where is remain unburned and makes me somehow feels good always.

It is in the deep part of the market with Showa atmosphere and I feel like I wandered into old Noren Market 農連市場 in Okinawa.

At there, I’m craving authentic Okinawa soba noodle or Hawaiian saimin noodle.

Well, just after walking around the market suffered from a big fire twice, we had on-site inspection for fire prevention by the fire department yesterday.

Their evaluation about this guesthouse is “No instructions are needed”, of course, however we made up our mind to devote ourself to disasters prevention without pride of the evaluation,

for our guests to enjoy this view from here without any worries.

ちょこっと好きな一角！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

大火事後の市場。

焼け残った部分になんとなく良いなぁと感じる一角があります。

市場のかなり奥まった一角で、そこにいるとなんか昭和な、まるで沖縄の農連市場に迷い込んだ感覚に包まれます。

なんか沖縄そばかハワイのサイミンが食べたくなる、そんな気分にさせてくれます。

さて、火事の怖さを見てきたところで、、、昨日、当宿は消防署の防火予防の立入検査を受けました。

結果はもちろん「指示事項なし」、ですが、それに驕ることなく日々防災については精進していこうとあらためて心に決めました。

あの店どうなった？ / How is the shop?

How is the shop?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In the mid-town market, which got suffered fire damage,

there are our guests’ favorite shops. They bought some foods, bring them back here and enjoyed eating them in this dining room, we remember.

After a little more than a month passed from the fire, protective walls were installed around damaged area in the market. The shops with less damage are already running their business. We don’t know which is our guests’ favorite one but we hope that they also running their business there.

Unbelievable two big fires has caused critical damage to the market, but even under such situation people are making their best effort to recover. I could feel that I got unexpected power from them.

We do recommend the energy of this recovering market for the people who got exhausted after 2 + half years abnormal situation.

あの店どうなった？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

大火災を被った町の市場。

当宿のリピーターゲストさんがご贔屓にしていたお店も入っていたりします。市場で買ったぬか炊きなどの食材を持ち帰り、このダイニングで美味しそうに召し上がっていた光景を思い出します。

二度目の火災からひと月あまり、市場内には防護壁も張り巡らされ、被害の少なかった店舗はしっかり営業されていました。ゲストさんのご贔屓がどのお店かは聞いていなかったので分かりませんでしたが、今も営業されていることを祈ります。

信じられないような大火事に４ヶ月のうちに二度も見舞われた市場。そんな状況下でもがんばって営業を続ける店舗の姿に、コロナ禍で疲弊していた心に思いがけない力をもらいました。

二年半に及ぶ異常事態で心の疲れた人に、この市場のエネルギーすごくオススメです。是非 買い物のやり取りを通して美味しい食材とパワーをゲットしてください。

それでは、目には見えない心身のエネルギーバランスをしっかりメンテして素敵な一日を！

P.S. 皮肉な話ですが、東日本大震災や2019年9月の台風15号に被災した房総にボランティアに入った時にも感じたのは、致命的なダメージを受けたところとそうでないところとの差は本当に「紙一重」ということをあらためて実感しました。どう対策すれば良いのかはまだ分かりませんが、考えられる準備、主には心がけなのかもしれませんが、よく考えておこうと思います。
