After OBON (summer) holidays

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

After OBON (Japanese summer religious) holidays, temperature around Kanmon straits is going down to about 30 degree C at the highest.

About 30 degree … It is still hot as a temperature number, but we feel a little cool now. It may because our bodies had been in about 34 degree for weeks and our temperature sensor may start misrecognizing.

Please take care not to cool your enthusiasm down, as the temperature goes down. Keep your enthusiastic soul in your body!

お盆過ぎたら、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

お盆の週を過ぎたら、関門エリアでは気温が少し下がり、最高気温は３０度前後になりました。

３０度前後、、、気温としてはまだまだ高いのですが、ずっと３４度程の暑さに晒されていた体は温感がズレてしまっていて、３０度前後でもなんかずいぶん涼しくなったように感じてしまいます。

気温と一緒に気持ちの熱も冷めてしまい、ぬけ殻状態にならぬようご用心！

Another Aspect of the PEACE!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Today is the 74th Memorial Defeated Day in Japan.

It is the day we think about the peace again.

In this summer, we have many repeater guests in this guesthouse. Some of them are from the country which didn’t declare the end of war yet. What happens in such country, still in war situation. One of the important thing is “Conscription”. All of young boys in the country have to put themselves in military service for about two years.

This summer, we had a guest who stayed here just before and just after his military service. We really appreciate it. We sometimes hear that some of young people had serious injury during the service. So we were happy to have him back here healthy and safe.

It is interesting that we are getting well know about conscription system in their country by getting information from our guests. A few days ago, we talked with one guest from the country, who is a mother of one young boy. We enjoyed talking about the conscription system which we heard from other guests. She was surprised us very much, because we knew how to avoid “military” service. And we felt real feeling of mother who is worrying about her sons going into the military for even two years.

In this country, Japan, we don’t need to send our son to military service forcibly. Today may be a good opportunity to think about peace without “Conscription”.

もうひとつの平和！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本は今日、74年目の敗戦記念日を迎えました。

あらためて平和の大切さを考える日です。

この夏、当宿にはたくさんのリピーターゲストさん達にご利用いただいています。終戦を迎えていない国からのリピーターゲストさんもいらっしゃいます。終戦を迎えていないと何が起こるかというと、一番影響があるのが兵役です。若い男子が二年もの間兵役につかなければならないのです。

そんな大変な兵役の前と後、繰り返して当宿をご利用いただいたゲストさんがいらっしゃいました。本当にありがたいことです。中には兵役の間に大きな怪我をされる人もいるらしく、彼が無事に兵役を終えられたこと、とても嬉しく思います。

面白いもので、そんな彼らから日本にはない兵役のことを色々聞いていると結構詳しくなってきました。先日年頃の息子さんをもつ母親が利用された際には、以前のゲストに聞いた兵役を回避する方法で盛り上がり、そんな話を知らなかった彼女にとても感心されてしまいました。二年間とはいえ、軍隊に大切な息子を送り出す不安を実際に感じた瞬間でした。。

強制的に子供を兵役に送り出さずに済んでいる我が国にっぽん、そんな角度から平和の大切さを考えるのも悪くないと思います。

ホントにこの気候が過ごしやすいの？！/ The man from the hottest place of the world!

The man from the hottest place of the world!

Good morning to the World, Hong Kong and Kanmon!

It was told by the family, we focused on the previous article.

According to them, current Japanese weather, which is mentioned all the time as extremely hot, is more comfortable than their place.

Now, their place is the hottest in the world in various meaning. One of the biggest airport in Asia was shut down yesterday.

At the time of the check-out, the guest gave us a wonderful gift.

hallelujah01 (We think that there is not many people in Japan who know the meaning of the gift. Those in the know, know it. Japanese media hasn’t report about it.)

From now on, we will welcome guests from their place with wearing this.

We may also wear this, when we will welcome the guests from the world 2nd largest country in economy, with expecting that the big country will be broken down from its inside, by spreading people’s strong feelings and voices from their special administrative region.

ホントにこの気候が過ごしやすいの？！

世界中に朝が、香港に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

そう言ったのは、前記事で話題にしたファミリーゲスト。

彼らによると、酷暑といわれている今の日本も過ごしやすいみたいです。

今、彼らのお国は色んな意味で、世界中で最高に熱いみたいです。昨日もアジア有数の国際空港がシャットダウンしてしまったようですし、、、

そんなゲストがチェックアウトの時に、とてもうれしいギフトをくれました。

hallelujah01 （このギフトの意味は知っている人は知っている内容です。多分、日本のメディアは報じていません。）

今後、彼らのお国からゲストが来るときは、これを着ておもてなししようと思います。

hallelujah02 （ちなみに旗は、北九州マラソンの際にゲストを応援するために作ったものです。）おそらく、世界第二の経済大国からのゲストがいらっしゃる時にもこれを着るかな！小さな特別行政区の人たちの想いと声が広がることで、かの大国が内側から崩壊することを期待して、、、
