Our Declaration of Flowering!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
As Fukuoka meteorological observatory ignore us, Kitakyushu. It seems that this city decided to declare Sakura = Yoshino Cherry flowering by determine the standard tree by themselves. This year, March 24th was the day of declaration of flowering in Kitakyushu.
(It was Mar. 21 in Fukuoka, three days earlier than Kitakyushu.)
Sakura condition abound Kokura castle yesterday, March 26, was 10-20% of full blooming, from the subjective point of view. There seems to be balance between each individual tree.
In various part of the park, several group put blue sheets on the ground and were preparing HANAMI outdoor parties. There is a big difference in the regulation of park use for Hanami Party this year. We cannot do BBQ in the park this year.
It is because party people got rude recently and they had no manner to use park clean. So park office decided that no more BBQ and fire use in the park this year. They did that to themselves!
And I saw the globalization of HANAMI party in the multi language instruction of waste segregation. How about making decision to prohibit drinking alcohol in the park like western countries? The rule “No Alcohol in Public Place” is good for children not to see ugly behavior of adults under influence of alcohol.
By the way, let’s talk about flowering condition in this town Komorie. We confirmed that several flowers are blooming already.
So to follow this city, we want to make Our Declaration of Flowering in Komorie.
“Date of Flowering in Komorie is March 26th, 2019.”

開花宣言です！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
気象台に相手にされない我が北九州市は、独自に桜の標準木を定めて、先の日曜(3/24)に市として独自に桜＝ソメイヨシノの開花を宣言しました。
（ちなみに福岡としての今年の開花宣言は、これより３日早い3/21でした。）
昨日(3/26)時点の小倉城周辺の開花状況は、主観的に見て一部・二部咲きという具合でしょうか？木によって個体差があるようです。
公園内のいたるところではすでにブルーシートが敷かれていて、花見の準備万端というグループも少なくないようです。花見についての昨年との大きな違いは「火気厳禁」となったことです。
バーベキューも出来る花見会場として人気でしたが、利用者のマナー不足には目に余るものがあったようで、今年から禁止となったようです。まぁ自業自得ということですね。
ゴミの分別ステーションは多言語されていて、グローバル化の波を感じずにはいられません。ついでに欧米並みにお酒も禁止してはどうでしょう。パブリックスペースでお酒飲めない文化は子どもたちに醜態を見せないという意味でも悪くないないと思います。
ちなみに、わが町「小森江」の桜の開花はどうかといえば、、、ようやく数輪咲いているのが確認出来ました。
というわけで、北九州市にならって独自に開花宣言したいと思います。
