Riding on the power of lift!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Holiday weather was super windy in Kanmon.

Sometimes wind blew more than 10m/sec, but we went…

“Feel the energy Trekking!”

windy01

We felt that wind lift us and we have to take care not to be lifted by the wind.

We have the first male attendee and enjoyed the Energy of Wind together.

windy03

Thank you and you have a nice weekend, with blowing your stress out!

windy02P.S. We saw rain was moving arround Kokura.  According to another guest who went Kokura for sightseeing, it started heavy rain suddenly. Kitakyushu seems small but sometimes big, we thought.

Feel the Energy Trekking!

windy01

Treat for ourselves after climbing

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In the last event “Feel the Energy Trekking”, we chose a different way to go down the mountain.

On the way, there are …

“Treat for ourselves who accomplish the trekking.”

Furthermore, treat is not only one.

*Treat #1: Fine Coffee “Toarco Toraja Brend Coffee”

feelenergy1611-03

*Treat #2: B class Grommet “ISSENYOSHOKU (USUYAKI)”

feelenergy1611-02

*Treat #3: Superb view of our Port Town (together with 1+2)

(It is really fine view which we proud of.)

We believe it is quite higher than paid observation room, both elevation and quality.

As far as I know, this coffee shop was already there, when I was a high school student. It is the heritage class quality shop.

Trekking course is very flexible and decided casually depends upon the weather, feeling and type of attendees.

Thank you and you have good food, good view and good weekend.

前回11月の “Feel the Energy Trekking”。

Let’s go to far away in Autumn Holiday!

Let’s go to far away in Autumn Holiday!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In Japan, today is the start of 3 days autumn holiday.

I am going to the place which is very very far.

It takes approx. 200 miles, no 200 years from now.

I love watching Maps, specially old one.

inou-kanmon01

Attached picture is the map of Kanmon made in Edo era, which is the oldest one I have ever seen.

inou-kanmon00

Famous officer, Mr. Tadataka Inou’s team made this. On his map, current shore line is drawn by red line.

According to this map, Komorie area was on the land, compare with Mojiko
and Shimonoseki, in the ocean.

It is fun to imagine what kind of view/scene could be seen from here.

I really want to climb our usual mountain and see whole Shimonoseki and Kitakyushu of Edo era from there. How were the ships in those days?

I don’t think we need to open our eyes there. We only need to open our eyes of imagination.

Don’t you come here and watch the Kanmon View of 200 years ago?
If you have good eyes, you can see 1000 years ago too.

So, where you want to go?

Thank you and you have a nice trip, no matter live or imagination.
