Trouble Maker in this town!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In the morning, I was surprised very much, when I went out.

It seems that crows are not only trouble maker in this small town.

A pretty big wild boar was scavaging a garbage collection point in this neighborhood.

Because I was driving my car, I tried to threaten him to minimize the damage of the garbage point. But he would not even show his fear.

I succeeded to chase out the boar. But boar is famous for its character of insane rush, so we will call our guests attention not to get attacked by the boar.

この町の厄介者！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

朝、出掛けにビックリしました。

どうもこの町の厄介者はカラスだけではないみたいです。

結構デカいイノシシが灯火の町内のゴミ捨て場をあさっているではないですか。

こちらは車だったので、脅かして被害を最低限に抑えようと試みましたが、車を怖れる素振りもみせません。

なんとか追い払いましたが、猪突猛進で有名なイノシシ、、、ゲストさんが襲われることのないよう気をつけてもらおうと思います。

お久しぶりね！/ Long time no see!

Long time no see!

A face we’ve seen somewhere before was coming toward us.

Vivid blue hull. Yes, she is a luxury cruise ship, “Nippon Maru”.

We had seen her pretty often before pandemic, but we haven’t seen her lately.
( We may have just missed her a lot, but…)

Anyway, we could not see many passenger who gathered on her deck and bridge to see this strait towns. We could see only a few people there and they might be her clues.

I checked her cruising schedule in brochure and found out that now is just between 2 cruise plans “Seto inland sea cruise” and “Izu islands cruise”. So I guess that it might be a test cruise or a charter cruise.

When can we expect to see her again with bunch of passengers moving through the strait like used to be.

お久しぶりね！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

遠くからどこかで見たことのある顔が近づいてきた。

鮮やかな青い船体（ハル）、、、そう「にっぽん丸」

以前はよくこの海峡を通過していくのを見かけましたが、最近めっきりその姿を見ていませんでした。
（見逃していただけかもしれませんが、、、）

ただ、コロナ前のように、海峡通過を海上からひと目見ようとデッキやブリッジに大勢集まっている船客の姿はなくて、数人（乗務員？）が歩いているのが確認されたぐらいでした。

今月のクルーズ予定をみると、瀬戸内クルーズと夏休みの伊豆諸島クルーズの合間のようで試験運行か貸切運行だったのでしょうか？

以前のように大勢を乗せて、この海峡を通り抜ける姿を見るのはいつになるでしょう。

ちょっと涼しいおはなし / A little cool topic

A little cool topic

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Now, it is SUMMER in Japan.

People living in the area, where the rainy season is over, are in hot weather, and people living in the area, where is still in rainy season, are in hot and humid weather.

It is pretty hot everyday in Kanmon area, because rainy season was over here.

There is a good place in Kanmon area, we stay in such hot summer.

It is strait side!

It may be because of the geography, wind blows constantly there. And best time to be there is twilight time.

You can enjoy fishing there as other local people do, but we recommend astronomical observation at the strait.

We are having petit astronomical show often these days. And we feel cool there with watching stars.

For example, the moon and Mars/Venus came very close early this week. and it will be fun observing Jupiter and Saturn soon.

How about be at the strait in hot summer, cooling yourself down and watching planets move.

ちょっと涼しいおはなし

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本は今 、、、“ 夏っ “ ！

梅雨が明けたエリアにお住まいの人は暑〜い夏を、
まだ梅雨が明けないエリアにお住まいの人は蒸し暑〜い夏を過ごしています。

ここ関門エリアは火曜日に梅雨が明けたので、かなり暑い毎日です。

そんな暑い夏を過ごすのにいい場所がここ関門エリアにはあるんです。

それは、、、水辺！

地形のせいかコンスタントに風が吹いています。そして特に良いのが黄昏時。

ベタに「釣り」というチョイスもありますが、おすすめは天体観測。

ここのところ、プチ天体ショーが頻繁にあって、海風にあたって星空を眺めていると、かなり涼しくなってきます。

たとえば今週前半には月が金星や火星と大接近したり、まもなく木星や土星観測が楽しくなります。

暑い夏、海辺で星を見ながら夕涼みなんてどうでしょう？
