A wonderful gift!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Managing a guesthouse is a kind of strange business and sometimes we have gotten small gift from our guests.

Several days ago, we got a wonderful gift from a guest.

He said that he roasted it by himself.

It has been a while in Japan since same maniac coffee enthusiastic coffee lovers started roasting coffee beans by themselves. We are impressed that there is a boom like that in Korea now.

We have been having many guests from the neighbor country. But it seems that we are having special guests with sharp sense which comes out from brushed up their life style. They are not
like the people, who only concern outside beauty created by frequent plastic surgeries. We think that is one of our characteristics.

素敵な贈り物！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ゲストハウス、、、たまに思いがけないいただきものをする職業なんですが、

先日、素敵なプレゼントをいただきました。

ゲストご自身が自家焙煎したものだそうです。
（パッケージにスタンプされている言葉の意味を聞いたのですが、なかなかイケてます。）

日本では自家焙煎ブーム以来、個人でローストする人が増えて久しいですが、韓国でもその流れがあることを知り、興味深く感じました。

当宿「灯火」はお隣の国からのゲストが多いのですが、不思議とプチ整形で外見を繕っているゲストより、ライフスタイルを磨き内面のセンスの光るゲストが多いことが特徴かもしれません。

P.S. 自分もそうですが、旅に小さな宿を利用して、小さなギフトを準備するのは新しいスタイルかもしれません。ホスト目線でいうと、そのゲストの関心・考え方が分かりホストもしやすくなります。（置いておくスペースがないので当宿には不要ですが、他をご利用の際に持っていくと旅先でのいろんな機会が拡がるかもしれません。日本人へのアドバイスでした。）
