One step ahead!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
We have started year end major cleanup one step ahead of normal Japanese timing.
First of all, we changed SHOJI paper.
We started damaged side of guest room.
Usually, we change them every year end. But because of less damage last year, we skipped one time. It means that less guests stayed last one and half year.
But strong UV deteriorated the papers no matter with pandemic and they got to tear easily.
We doubt that our guests will notice new SHOJI paper but we hope they can stay here comfortably.

一足お先に！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
一足お先に年末の大掃除に着手することにしました。
手始めに障子の張り替えに取り掛かりました。
まずは客室の傷んだ側の障子戸から始めます。
通常、障子紙の交換は毎年末行なっていますが、痛みが少なかったことから昨年はパスしました。つまりこの一年半ゲストさんのご利用が少なかったというわけです。（涙）
けれどもコロナ禍かどうかに関わらず、強い日差しが紙を劣化させ、とても破れやすくなっていました。
ゲストさんたちが新しくなった障子紙のことに気付くとは思いませんが、これによって快適に過ごしていただければ良いなと思います。
それでは、あえて見える化しなくても快適で素敵な一日を！
