Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
I have wondered why so many joggers I saw everywhere in this city lately.
I found out that lottery for runners was held and they informed the result to the participants in this month.
(My friend from university cannot win it. He has lost for three years. How popular marathon is! How popular Kitakyushu is for runners!)
I believer that winners are happy and started training for the marathon day. (Specially people who signed up with half joking must make extra effort toward the day.)
Volunteers have also been recruited till recently.
We cannot volunteer the marathon day, but we want to support runners who will stay in TOUKA previous night. If you are planning to run the race, please inform us of your attending race when you make a reservation here.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
なんかこのところいろんな所でジョギングしている人をやけに見かけると思ったら、、、
どうも今月、マラソン申込みの抽選が行われ、その結果が参加者に連絡されたようです。
（残念ながら、大学の同級生はハズレてしまいました。これで３年連続ハズレ！マラソンって人気なんですね。北九州って人気なんですね。）
当たった人はそりゃ真剣ですよね。
（冷やかしで申し込んだ人は特に、、、完走にむけて！）
つい最近まではボランティアも募集されていたようです。
大会ボランティアはできませんが、マラソンコースに近い「灯火」では宿泊されるランナーの皆さんをサポートしたいと考えています。どうぞマラソンに参加される方は宿泊予約にその旨書き添えてお申し込みください。
